Bathinov Mask 125-180 Artesky

The Bathinov Mask is a very useful tool in astrophotography as it lets you understand whether the telescope is in or out of focus.

Bathinov Masks can be used on all types of telescopes without exceptions, provided that the right diameter is chosen. 

This Bathinov Mask can be adjusted to a diameter that goes from 125 up to 180mm. 

How to install

Each mask is supplied with 3 screws. Place the mask on the outer diameter of the telescope and fasten the screws. Then point to a bright star.

The Computer monitor or the Reflex Camera will show an X symbol with a line in the middle (please refer to the image below).

If the middle line is placed above or under the centre of the X, it means that your instrument is out of focus. Once the middle line is in the exact centre of the X, you will be able to shoot perfectly focused images.
