Losmandy-style Dovetail Bar 200mm V2 Artesky

The 200mm Losmandy-Style Dovetail Bar from Artesky is designed to help you install telescopes on mounts equipped with Losmandy type attachment.

The Dovetail Bar is useful to install small telescopes (such as refractors up to 100mm in diameter or Newtonian telescopes up to 150mm in diameter) on mounts equipped with Losmandy type attachment (such as iOptron's GEM45, CEM70, CEM120 or Skywatcher's EQ6-R, AZEQ6, EQ8).

The 200mm Losmandy-Style Dovetail Bar from Artesky is equipped with recessed centre slots and threaded holes to ease mounting of rings, guide rings, clamps or telescopes.

Artesky's Dovetail Bars are deeply anodized

Artesky's Dovetail Bars go through a very deep anodization process (20 micron).

This product is highly precise CNC machined, then it's sandblasted to ensure a high quality surface finish and in the end it goes through a deep anodization process to protect it from corrosion and increase the hardness of the aluminum

How to use

The Losmandy-Style Dovetail Bar from Artesky can be installed under the telescope tube rings to connect it to mounts with Losmandy attachment in order to guarantee better precision and grip of the instrument itself.

It is also possible to install this product above the telescope tube rings to increase the rigidity of the structure and to be able to attach other accessories such as clamps, guide rings, guide telescope, etc. or to create a double plate when combined with two sets of clamps.

Mechanical accessories of other brands can be easily adapted to the bar as it's equipped with recessed centre slots and numerous threaded holes to allow you to fast and easy fixing.
