Off-axis guide DELUXE Artesky

Off-axis guide is a truly convenient and exceptional tool for astrophotographers.

Off-axis guide is an innovative product that can be screwed or inserted into the focuser of a telescope.

A small prism deflects a very small amount of light from the telescope into a separate tube, where the guide camera or an eyepiece with illuminated reticle is positioned.

Thanks to this, you can easily correct any tracking error during your camera's shooting time.

The result? Perfectly round stars!

Why is it better to photograph with an off-axis guide?

With an off-axis guide you will have perfect photographs in an instant; photos that require long shooting times require precise pursuits, such as those guaranteed by the DELUXE Artesky OAG, an essential tool for astrophotographers.

You'll get perfect photographs in no time!

Advantages

  • Get great photos with perfectly round stars
  • For SC, Mak, RC and Newton refractors and telescopes
  • Overall length of only 16mm - very compact!
  • OAG is very robust but at the same time very light: it's only 170g!
  • Clear aperture greater than 45mm - Excellent for illuminating even large sensors and avoid shading
  • Ability to rotate the sensor 120°
  • Prism dimension: 13.5mm- Much larger than many off-axis guides on the market!

How to connect the DELUXE off-axis guide

The DELUXE Artesky off-axis guide has a 2"/ M48x0.75 attachment on the telescope side and a M42x0.75 (T2) attachment on the camera side - Completed with a rotator for cameras (120°)

Accessories include three screws and an adapter, enabling you to rotate your camera at any time to avoid losing sight of the object you are photographing!

How to choose between a Guide telescope and an Off-axis guide?

When spending long shooting times, the position of the guide telescope and the telescope can undergo minimal movements, even with reflecting telescopes.

An off-axis guide can easily solve this problem as there is only one optical path.
