31.8mm IR-CUT Filter Artesky

Optimal for planetary shooting with CCD or CMOS cameras.

After placing the IR-CUT filter in front of your camera you will be able to obtain more detailed images with greater chromatic precision; the filter will block infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths.

The filter features a 31.8mm thread to ease assembly process. Optical quality is excellent as the optical surfaces are finely polished on both sides.

It is possible to use this IR CUT filter with CCD or CMOS cameras when they do not already possess an integrated UV/IR CUT filter.

By using this part of the spectrum you will be able to eliminate all interferences that can be caused by lenses that do not correct.

IR CUT Filter increases the contrast of images; it can also be used with an Herschel prism.
