50.8mm LRGB Filter Set Optolong

LRGB Filter Set is designed to achieve maximum contrast and with extremely high gradients for clear color differentiation.

The LRGB Filter set allows to divide the color spectrum in 4 main components: L luminance, R red, G green, B blue.

OIII emission overlaps on B/G-filters with maximum transmission to allow efficient and natural colour imaging.

The space between the green and red filter is useful to block 589nm sodium light pollution and will help improve color balance and separation.

The luminance filter, shown in the graph below as the white line, also plays an important role in CCD photography.

Utilization and Performance

This product works well on monochromatic CCD and CMOS cameras. It's suitable for Deepsky and planetary imaging. 

RGB-imaging allows equal weighting factors for each channel, very important for automated imaging.
